Mini Red Velvet Donuts


Ingredients: (Makes 12 – 15 mini donuts)

  • 1 1/3 cup red velvet cake mix
  • 1/3 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 egg, beaten


  • 1 can of cream cheese frosting


  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Combine all the donut ingredients together
  3. spoon mixture into a piping bag
  4. Spray the donut tray with a non stick spray
  5. fill the donut tray halfway with the mixture
  6. Bake for 7-10 min (since these are so small, the time may vary, use the toothpick method to check if it’s done)
  7. Remove from oven and let it cool on the side
  8. Scoop out a bit of the icing into a microwave safe bowl, microwave for about 15 seconds on high heat
  9. Spoon the icing over the cooled donuts and let the icing set
