Ramen Pork Burgers


I’ve been seeing trends on this Ramen burger, where the bun is just made up completely from ramen noodle! I thought it was worth a try, I didn’t have a recipe so I winged it. And it worked!!

Ingredients: (makes 2 burgers)

Burger “bun”:

  • 1 pack Ramen noodles (or 2 packs if you want a thick bun. But I suggest to just stick to one pack)
  • 1 egg

Pork Patty:

  • 1 1/2 pork grind
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp chopped red onion
  • Sprinkle of Salt & Pepper
  • 1 egg


  • Japanese Mayo
  • Sriracha
  • 1 cup boiled bok choy


  1. Boil ramen & drain
  2. Let it cool and add 1 egg to bind
  3. using a round tupperware, divide up the ramen into 4 even portions
  4. line the round tupperware with plastic wrap, put the one portion of the ramen
  5. repeat and layer into tupperware and use a weight on top of the 4 layers to press down, keep in the fridge
  6. mix ground pork, seasoning, garlic, onion and 1 egg together.
  7. separate the pork mixture into 2 portions and use same method as ramen buns (place into tupperware and flatten)
  8. place into fridge to set
  9. boil bok choy
  10. when ready to eat, you can either pan fry or deep fry the ramen bun. I chose to pan fry
  11. fry up the burgers and place onto ramen buns, top with bok choy and drizzle japanese mayo & sriracha

It turned out amazingly well! But man is it filling! I put some left over Godzilla Mac & Cheese on the side, I think that’s what pushed me over the edge haha
