Reindeer Marshmallow Pops

Is it too early to post about Christmas Treats?…. NO. We decided to make some Christmas themed treats to give to our neighbors last year, so what was simple, easy to decorate, and everyone loves?…. Marshmallows!

  • Large marshmallows
  • 2 cups Milk Chocolate melts
  • white icing pens
  • 1 bag of pretzels
  • 1 bag cinnamon candies
  • Clear plastic lollipop wraps (purchased at Michael’s)
  • Lollipop sticks (purchased at Michael’s)
  1. Break the pretzels in half to become antlers
  2. Cut the cinnamon candies in half to become the nose
  3. Melt the chocolate in batches
  4. Dip the tip of a lollipop stick into the chocolate and insert into the bottom of a marshmallow, by using chocolate first, it makes the marshmallow stick to the lollipop stick better and sturdier
  5. Spoon the chocolate mixture to cover the entire marshmallow
  6. Before the chocolate hardens, place 2 pieces of the pretzels on top of the marshmallow as antlers
  7. Now stick the cinnamon candy into the middle of the reindeer’s face to become his Rudolph nose
  8. Set aside to harden
  9. After the chocolate has solidified, apply the white icing dots as eyes
  10. Wrap each Reindeer pop with individual plastic lollipop bags and tie with a ribbon
Now place decoratively into a basket/vase/box, what ever you’d like and give them away with pride!
