Maple Bacon Cupcakes!

Who doesn’t like Bacon? So why not add it to cupcakes?!? This is such an easy cupcake to make for the bacon lovers out there. I made a few sans-bacon ones too for the vegetarians in my life




  • 1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1-1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup milk2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla


  1. in large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt
  2. Using electric mixer on low speed, mix in butter, milk, eggs and vanilla; beat on high speed until smooth, about 2 minutes
  3. Spoon into 12 paper-lined or greased muffin cups, filling about three-quarters full
  4. Bake in centre of 375°F (190°C) oven until cake tester inserted in centre comes out clean, about 18 minutes
  5. Transfer to rack; let cool completely
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt


  1. Combine all ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer fitter with a whisk attachment and beat on low speed until syrup and sugar are incorporated, about 1 minute
  2. Increase speed to high and beat until mixture is light and whipped, about 5 minutes
  3. Use immediately to frost cupcakes
  4. Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container
  • Half a pack of bacon (Or more, up to you!)
  • Brown sugar
  • maple syrup
  1. In a baking pan, spray with non-stick oil
  2. Drizzle maple syrup and sprinkle the brown sugar all over the pan
  3. lay the bacon flat on the pan
  4. Drizzle more maple syrup and brown sugar over the bacon
  5. Bake at 350 for 15 min
  1. Frost the cupcakes
  2. arrange bacon! (YAY)
  3. Eat until you hate yourself
